Every time I go there I have the best service , best food and hallways been greeted like family member. I love going there for a relaxing night . Their singer alireza talebzadeh sing all the beautiful songs with his magical voice . I would like to thank all Alborz restaurant employees to keep us happy and making sure their guests are feeling welcome and have wonderful time with them. I highly recommend everyone to go there and enjoy the best food and service at Alborz restaurant. This place is more than 5 stars.
I would strongly advise against hosting friends or family here. Think about this: not everyone wants butter or dairy in their food. Well… rice is pretty much the staple in Persian cuisine so that rules out like everything. Do you want to enforce butter on your friends? What if its too much or too greasy for them? What if they can’t or want any butter? Solution: do like the host and go somewhere else.
It's my favorite restaurant, and I am wondering why it has such a low rating. While some critics are right and they have some room for improvement, their dishes are great, and the personnel is friendly and helpful. Ask yourself - what is a good Persian restaurant. And a possible answer would be - the one that Persian people themselves like. You would see a lot of them here. I don't know a more popular Persian/Mediterranean restaurant around.
Be wary of places that enforce condiments. We left so quickly that we didn’t even bother with getting a refund. Ironically, we spotted the host take his break and go to the taco shop across the street.
setting is fine. the service is very good. the Greek Chicken salad looked great, but in order to use my Groupon I was limited to the entrees/daily specials menu. I found the vegetarian combo plate to be very mediocre. my companion ordered the moussaka and while he thought it was okay, it was not what he expected. I would not return to this establishment.
Avoid at all costs. The staff here is untrained. We asked for a dish without any dairy—dished arrived and surprise—turns out the rice is made with butter; you can’t ask for it any other way.
This is a bastardization of Iranian food.
This is hands down some of the best Persian food I've ever had. The koobideh and barg kebabs were excellent. Gheimeh bademjan was my favorite. Definitely go for the desert. Service was excellent. Authentic atmosphere and music.
